Peru Annual Town Election June 27, 2020 - Nomination Papers Available

Annual Town Election- June 27, 2020   ( date may change)

The Following Offices Will Appear on the Ballot

Select Board, One 3-Yr. Term  

Finance Board, one 5-Yr. Term

Planning Board, one 5-Yr. Term

Moderator -one 3-Yr. Term

Board of Health, one 3-Yr. Term

Constable, one 2-Yr. Term 

Tree Warden, one 1- Yr. Term

 

Nomination papers are available April 1st 2020 by submitting an “Intention to be Candidate Form “ (Click link ) to the Town Clerk. The form can be downloaded and printed from the Town’s website, you can also request the form my calling or e-mailing the town clerk.

The last day to obtain nomination papers is Thursday April 23rd by 5pm, Contact the Town clerk to make arrangements.

The last day to submit nomination papers to the Town Clerk's Office for certification Saturday April 25th by 5pm; Contact the Town Clerk to make arrangements

The last day to object or withdraw nomination papers is Tuesday May 12th by 5pm                 

Absentee and Early Voting ballot applications must be received by Noon on Friday, June 26th Contact the Town clerk to make arrangements.

The Annual Town Election will take place on Saturday June 27th from time- TBD at the Peru Community Center, 3 East Main Rd.
