Peru Cemetery Commission – Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Peru Cemetery Commission to protect, preserve and maintain the Town of Peru’s cemeteries. The Cemetery Commission strives to maintain the cemeteries to a standard that the residents can be proud of. The Cemetery Commission's mission is to provide:

· Adequate space for the town’s burial needs

· Maintenance in perpetuity of the grounds and monuments in each of the town’s three cemeteries

· Regulations that promote good order and respectful conduct

· Accurate records of those buried there
