Voting by mail is available to all voters for all elections in 2020. You do not need an excuse to vote by mail this year.
To vote by mail, all you need to do is:
  1. Complete a Vote by Mail Application;
  2. Deliver your application to the town clerk office
  3. Vote when your ballot arrives;
  4. Return your ballot.

Wait a couple days for your ballot to be recorded into the system.If you don't see that your ballot has been returned, contact the town clerk . All ballots are cast in the ballot box on election day .
 
Applications can be mailed or hand-delivered. Applications may also be submitted electronically by fax or e-mail, as long as your signature is visible. The U.S. Postal Service recommends submitting this application no later than October 20 to ensure the timely delivery of your ballot. A ballot cannot be mailed to you if your application reaches your local election office after 5 p.m. on October 28. Ballots must be postmarked by November 3 and delivered to your local election office by November 6 in order to be counted. Ballots that arrive prior to 8 p.m. on November 3 do not require a postmark.
 
 
Apply early, in order to have enough time to return your ballot.

In-person early voting for the State Election will be held October 17-30 ( days & hours to be announced)
 
November 3, 2020  Presidential Election - Polling Hours 7:00am-8:00pm
10/24/2020 - Last Day to Register to Vote/Make Changes to Voter Registration -Voter Registration Session  2-4pm & 7-8pm
 
Absentee & Early Voting : The deadline to request an absentee ballot or mail-in early ballot by mail will be 5 p.m. on the 4th business day before an election. The deadline to request an absentee ballot in person will remain 12 p.m. the day before the election

The application can be returned by dropping off to the Town Clerk lock box at Town Hall (located to the right of the front door ) ,or mailed back to :Town Clerk,Suite 102, 3 East Main Rd. Peru MA 01235
