Polling Hours: 7am - 8pm

Voter Registration Deadline: to register to vote or to change political party 5:00pm February 24, 2024

 

Voter Registration Session: 9:00am -11:00am & 3:00pm-5:00pm in the Town Clerk's Office on February 24, 2024

 

Vote by Mail Application Deadline:February 27, 2024
Any mail-in ballot must be requested in writing by 5 p.m. on the 5th business day before the election 
Your application can only be accepted if it has reached your local election office by the deadline.

 

Returning Your Ballot
There are several options for returning your ballot. You may return your ballot by:
Mailing it back using the envelope provided.
Hand-delivering your ballot to the town clerk.
Using the Town Clerk drop box at Peru Town Hall
Ballots cannot be dropped off at a polling place on Election Day.
Ballots must reach your local election office by the close of polls on Election Day in order to be counted.

 

In-person Early Voting Sessions: Held in the Town Hall Meeting Room 
Saturday, February 24th from 9:00am – 1:00 pm
Tuesday, February 27th from 12:30pm-5:30pm

 

Absentee Voting in Person
You may arrange with your town clerk to cast your absentee ballot in person at your local election office until 12 p.m. on the day before the election.
You can still vote in person at your polling place or an early voting location if you’ve applied for an absentee ballot, as long as you haven’t yet returned the ballot.
You can’t vote in person if your ballot has been accepted by your local election office. You can’t take your ballot back or vote again.

 

Deadline for in person Absentee Voting is noon March 4th, contact the town clerk to make arrangements.
